Transcripts
Transcripts are the stored, readable text of past calls, kept alongside recordings and summaries so a conversation can be reviewed word for word.
Also called: call transcripts, conversation logs
Where call transcription is the process, transcripts are the records it leaves behind. They are searchable, shareable and cheap to store, and they are the evidence behind a summary.
Transcripts contain whatever callers said, which can include personal data. They fall under the same retention, access and deletion rules as recordings, and any system that feeds them to a language model should treat them as untrusted input.
